My name is Bernadette, better known as Miss Murder 🙂

I am from California but Grew up in Eindhoven Holland. I have been living back in the states for about 7 years now. I have been modeling for about 2 years.  I am mainly a print model. I model in ads & in catalogs 🙂 I started modeling to try & break into industries that normally don’t use tattoo models. I want to change the industry and pave a new way for tattooed models. I’m a Rock & Roll Sinner cause that’s exactly what’s in my blood!

Guitar talk with Eric Hammer

Posted by Dee-Ann On February - 25 - 2011

Eric Hammer, is bassplayer of legendary psychobilly band Batmobile. Also very active with his other bands The Cactus Cowboys, Gecko Brothers, Tio Gringo and Bang Bang Bazooka. You’d think I would ask him about all his bands, but no… I decided to talk to him about his huge guitar collection. Yes, he is passionate about guitars especially one…

Eric, I heard you have a special guitar. Tell us about it.

I own about twenty guitars but my one and only is a Gretsch 6120 from 1961. Color orange. It’s color has faded though. The special thing about this one is that it is the inbetween model when Gretsch went from single cutaway to double cutaway in 1962. I bought it in 1985, just after Batmobile started in 1983. It was my first real guitar. I started as a guitarist you see, when I was 15. When we started Batmobile, I learned to play bass, but I’m a guitar player.

Rock ’n Roll Sinners Agency

Posted by Dee-Ann On February - 22 - 2011

Rock ‘n Roll Sinners Agency is an agency for alternative and pin-up models, bands and performers such as burlesque- and fetish who dare to be different in appearence and style. Nicky Verstappen is the founder of this agency. He is proud to present his models the next few weeks. But first let’s see what’s behind all that.

Nicky: The name already appeared in my mind about half a year before actually launching it, combining my passion for the music and lifestyle called rock ’n roll and the fact that I lead a rather sinful life: the name describes the person behind the company, the companies concept and our models and performers (the sinners) at once!

After working on graphic- and interactive design for about 3-4 years I simply decided it was time to combine it with my passion for photography, music and alternative lifestyle. This combined with the network and opportunities I had at that time made the decision pretty quick: I will leave the details of the neverending research that followed apart to keep things interesting.

One part throwback to 1960’s Beach Party movies, another part slasher film, with a plentiful helping of “drag humor” to boot, Psycho Beach Party is a pop culture cocktail that isn’t going to go down easy for everyone.  Although, the Los Straitjackets backed soundtrack will probably help those in need.

Psycho Beach Party!

The film is over a decade old, foreshadowing cult cinema’s ever growing need to pay homage to its drive-in roots.  Long before Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez got took their trip to the “Grindhouse.”  And while it might not have the polish of their B-movie homages, it’s low budget nature makes it all the more authentic in recreating the look of a 60’s beach film.

Interview with Will “The Thrill” Viharo!

Posted by graham On February - 15 - 2011
For those of you who don’t know, Will “The Thrill” Viharo is the lunatic genius behind Thrillville, the Oakland, CA based cult movie cabaret. Unfortunately, the Parkway Theater that hosted Thrillville recently closed. Not one to rest on his laurels, Will has returned to his first love, writing.

Lucky for you boils and ghouls, he’s here to discuss B-movies, cocktails, and all the wild and woolly stuff that inspires him to write like a madman!

Pinup of the week: Kiki Kaboom

Posted by Dee-Ann On February - 14 - 2011

The Story Of Kiki KabOOm..
My name is Kiki, I’m 24 years old and from a boring little place in the Netherlands, called Oss..
One of the fun things in Oss is Ace of Spades, the tattoo shop where I work as a body piercer/floor manager. The tattoo shop opened about two years ago and I’ve been a body piercer since last year. I always had a lot of piercings myself, but it was still a big step for me to put needles into someone else’s body.. I can clearly remember the first piercing I did, it was a nipple piercing which bled for three hours. It was a disaster, I was in shock and I thought my client was dying haha..
The more piercings I did, the better I got. But most of all I find it a very rewarding job. People come to me nervous and scared and leave with big smiles on their faces..
Apart from piercings and tattoos, I love animals and LOUD music.. Psychobilly, punk, oi, folk, terror, rockabilly, American hardcore and of course Rock N Roll is a big influence in my life, I always were black eyeliner and love to sing elvis.. But I wouldn’t say that my style is completely fifties.. I have many
styles depending by the way I feel that day..
That’s also why I love to be a Rockabella model.. When you are a model, you can be someone different everytime.. But like every little girl I love being dressed and make-upped professionally.. It makes you feel like a princess.. A tattoo-princess in my case..

Mojokings is a band out of the East Anglia region of the UK. They released their first studio album, ‘Got The Devil In Me’, in 2008 on UK independent label, Pink’n’Black Records. The album gained great popularity in the UK’s rockabilly scene and also found success in Europe and Japan, as well as sales in Australia and the USA. The band was getting a great reputation for themselves as a live act and things were looking good for the band, even getting nominated for a 2008 indie award for best live act! Mojokings stormed the stage at the UK’s Bedlam Breakout Psychobilly festival.
Paul Scoulding is the singer/ songwriter and founder of the band and we got the chance to talk about the band, even though he has a very busy schedule.

When was the band founded and by whom?

The band was founded by me around 2007. We had been gigging around as The Fat Cat Trio for a couple of years before that. We changed the name and started taking it more serious.

Psychobilly Comics and More

Posted by Bunny On February - 10 - 2011

I first met the dashing Mr. Edwards years back at Wizard World Dallas. The well-dressed, well spoken, word smith stood out in a room full of virginal nerds. We recently caught up with his famous gal pal Jamie Bahr, making me think that it might be time to sit down with the “godfather of horrorpunk comics”

First off, tell us about yourself and your history?

Styling & HMUA The Rockabella, Photo by Erika Zanatta Figabomba

When I was 14 years old, an artist approached me on a terrace while I was enjoying a drink with my mother. He asked me if I would like it to be photographed by him; my extravagant outfit impressed him. I’ve always been a pretty outspoken person: a very strong will, experimental clothing styles and eccentric hobbies.

But so it happened, I rolled into the “art photography world”.

A new day for the silver age!

Posted by Bunny On February - 1 - 2011

With his Coop meets Kirby style, Sergio Calvet’s work bridges the gap between low-brow art and comics culture. Distinct lines invoke a bygone era without ever losing sight of the far future. Let’s get to know him a little better, shall we?

First off, for the non-comic fans out there, tell us a little bit about yourself?
